Message from our Mayor, the Honorable Danny P. Funderburk:
Thank you for your interest in the Town of Fort Mill. We have established this website to provide you with a variety of information and useful services. Please feel free to explore the website and provide us with any questions or comments you may have.
Fort Mill is a wonderful town located along the I-77 corridor in the northernmost part of South Carolina. We are one of the fastest growing communities in the state for a lot of reasons. Residents of the town enjoy a high quality of life and a strong sense of community. The Fort Mill Schools are among the best in the state and perform well above national standards. We also are home to a number of thriving businesses and corporate offices. Our close proximity to the Charlotte metropolitan area provides numerous educational, recreational and employment opportunities. Our town staff does an excellent job of providing a clean and safe environment for our residents.

***Note about FOXES: The Town is aware of citizens seeing foxes in their backyards and other parts of their property. We've been in contact with the Department of Natural Resources, and while they do not consider foxes to be dangerous animals, they do advise you not to approach the foxes. They are wild animals and need to be respected as such. More information on this will be forthcoming.***
Make plans to join us for our Annual Fourth of July Celebration in Confederate Park!! Festivities will begin at 10AM on July 4, with patriotic songs, special guest speakers and recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, along with the Firing of the Cannon!!! Check back for more updates!
