The Administration Department includes the offices of the Mayor, Town Manager, Town Clerk, Parks & Recreation Director, and Stormwater Engineer.

Town Manager

The Fort Mill Town Manager, David E. Hudspeth, is appointed by Town Council and is responsible for management and oversight of all 95 plus full-time employees and all town departments. Mr. Hudspeth drafts and submits the annual budget to council each year for approval. He provides budget and financial oversight for the town's general fund, enterprise fund and annual capital fund. The Town Manager also serves as primary support staff on all town boards and commissions.

Mr. Hudspeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Winthrop University. He has served as the Fort Mill Town Manager since 1997. The International City/County Managers Association certified Mr. Hudspeth as a Credentialed Manager in 2005.

Mr. Hudspeth lives in Fort Mill with his wife and two children. He is a long-time member of the Fort Mill Rotary Club and is active in their international student exchange program.
